Carbon Footprint

Think of rooflights as solar panels because this is what they are – panels that allow daylight into your building. They can capture the solar energy falling on them to reduce the use of artificial lighting systems, which is often the biggest energy use in the building, to save money and reduce your CO2 emissions. The effect of rooflights on the energy required for heating is almost neutral, because solar gain balances the poorer insulation of rooflights during daylight hours. All of the above make it easier to meet Part L regulations. Save energy, save money, save the environment.
